The gravity gas-liquid separator is primarily utilized for the separation of lye and gas in AEL. As shown in Fig. 1, the H 2 and O 2 generated by the AEL are individually combined with the lye before being introduced into the gas-liquid separator for separation. Gas exits through the upper gas overflow port of the separator.
